Position for Experienced Payroll & Compliance Specialist!

This position will focus on payroll responsibilities primarily, and help with bookkeeping and possibly some tax data entry, as time permits.

This position is responsible to:

• Manage all deadlines, tasks, and communication between all of our payroll clients
• Some regular and occasional payroll processing will be needed
• Completion of back-filings for new clients
• Completing client setup on internal payroll system
• Data entry for clients related to payroll changes
• Occasional consulting on payroll needs with clients
• Monitoring payroll compliance in systems to ensure timely and correct filings, etc.

Experience with payroll compliance is a MUST, not just payroll processing. This includes but is not limited to: state withholding and unemployment registrations and filings, understanding of what filings are generally required and how they are completed and when, payroll system setup requirements, understanding of common payroll challenges and solutions, etc.

Additional compliance items may include Sales Tax and others. Experience with these and other small business compliance requitements is a plus.
