Entry Level Printing Press Operator

The Standard Examiner is looking to hire a dependable energetic team player to work full time “swing shift hours” on our state of the art KBA Comet printing press.

Our experienced press operators operate, maintain and repair our equipment. On the job training is essential for success in this position, The skills needed are learned on the job. Pay increases are awarded with demonstrated advances in these skills sets. The ideal candidate is looking for a career and will have a demonstratable job history of dependability and commitment. The right candidate possesses a good mechanical background, a high level of attention to detail, color vision, and ability to climb stairs and ladders, lift 50 lbs. and able to stand on their feet for 8 hrs. Experience with electronics, flow technologies, and electrical circuits plus computers is a plus.
