Job Title --        Electrical Maintenance engineer

Up to $ 40 an hour – Full Time

Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a Commercial / Industrial Master or Journeyman electrician to perform Electrical installation and preventative maintenance on various process machinery throughout a large industrial facility. This team member will install, repair, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment, water systems, boiler room, material handling, and packaging equipment. They will perform electrical services as well as have the opportunity to learn other facets of industrial machines such as hydraulics, plumbing, and pneumatics. This job will be scheduled to work 4 ten hour days per week with 3 days off in a row.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete Assigned tasks list to include, electrical installation, PLC and VFD programming and troubleshooting. Tasks also include repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, water systems, piping, heat exchangers, and other power-driven equipment.
• Install new electrical service to equipment, machines, and buildings.
• Read Manufacturers electrical schematics and be able to install and troubleshoot from them.
• Troubleshoot Electrical issues
• Respond to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment
• Look for opportunities to continually improve maintenance processes
• Work with all plant personnel in a cooperative and professional manner
• Strictly adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures
• Ability to study manufacturers’ manuals, schematics to determine correct operation of machinery
• Maintain provided tools required for completion or assigned tasks.

Requirements Qualifications

-Master electrician / Journeyman electrician

Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other safety violations.

knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics,

- Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools.

- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phase 230 and 460 volt systems.

- PLC experience.

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, perform basic math, good time management

- Must be a self-motivated team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done; self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement.

Master Electrician or Journeyman electrician rating depending on experience.
