The Warehouse personnel are responsible for performing daily warehouse functions such as unloading trucks, rotating beer, stocking pick lines, building bulk and carts, and checking trucks in at the end of the day. They are also responsible for basic facilities maintenance and other tasks that arise during the course of the day. Some Warehouse personnel operate forklifts, so for those employees, forklift training and certification are mandatory. Other Warehouse personnel mainly load carts, but are also responsible for facilities maintenance.
In order to properly perform the job of Warehouse person, an individual must:
· Repeatedly get in and out of a forklift
· Repeatedly lift cases of product weighing in excess of 30lbs
· Be able to lift carts and pallets weighing in excess of 100lbs
· Be able to use hand trucks to move stacks of beer weighing in excess of 350 lbs.
· Be able to use carts to move stacks of beer weighing in excess of 1,200 lbs
· Be able to lift or move kegs weighing as much as 170lbs.
· Repeatedly reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
· Occasionally climb ladders or other structures.
