Structured Restoration is an Emergency Restoration Company located in Northern Utah. We provide emergency mitigation services for property owners affected by flood, fire, mold and storm damages. We are looking to add an experienced mitigation technician to our team. Our mission is to guide people through challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and unmatched professionalism.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Mitigation Technician who shares our values and wants to make a difference. You’ll respond to emergency calls, perform restoration work, and help restore peace of mind to our customers. You’ll use specialized equipment and techniques to minimize damage, prevent further issues, and begin the restoration process. Whether you’re extracting water from a flooded basement, tearing out damaged drywall, or setting up containment for mold remediation, you’ll take pride in doing work that matters. This is a hands-on, physically active role that requires problem-solving, customer communication, and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for restoring and cleaning properties that have been damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. If you have experience in the restoration industry and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Emergency response to water and mold damage situations
• Water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidifier setup
• Mold containment setup and removal of contaminated materials
• Monitoring moisture levels and logging progress
• Demolition of non-salvageable materials (drywall, flooring, etc.)
• Proper use and maintenance of mitigation tools and equipment
• Cleaning and disinfecting affected areas
• Coordinating with project managers and team leads on job scope
• Representing the company professionally in customer interactions
• Maintaining a clean vehicle and organized tool inventory
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency calls

You will often be the first person our customers meet during a stressful time — how you show up matters. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, works hard, stays calm under pressure, and understands the value of compassion alongside craftsmanship.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in tight spaces, or in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, debris, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
• Willingness to work on-call shifts, including some evenings and weekends

Preferred (but not required):

• 1+ year of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.)
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE standards
• Experience with moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and negative air machines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends/Nights as needed
