We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Excavation and Underground Utility team.

The ideal candidate will operate various types of heavy machinery to ensure the successful completion of construction projects while maintaining the proper PPE regulations. You will work closely with our project superintendents/foreman and construction crews to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.

·        Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and loaders.

·        Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintenance on equipment.

·        Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.

·        Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.

·        Assist in the setup and teardown of job sites.

·        Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage.

Education and Experience:

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        Valid driver’s license; Heavy Equipment Operator certification preferred.

·        3-5 Years of experience operating heavy machinery.

·        Strong understanding of construction safety practices.

·        Ability to read blueprints and site plans is a plus.

·        Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Language Skills:

·        Ability to Read and Comprehend Site Plans

·        Ability to Communicate Effectively with Other Team Members

·        Apply Common Sense to Carry Out Detailed, Written and/or Oral Instructions

Valid Driver’s License Required (Reliable form of Transportation Required)

Ability to Pass Drug Screening upon Hire
