Job Description:

Morgan Pavement, a leading provider of asphalt services in Utah, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asphalt Division Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the asphalt industry and possess the ability to operate a paver and screed while effectively managing a crew of several crew members. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of asphalt paving operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the asphalt paving crew.
• Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment, including pavers and screeds.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Train, mentor, and manage crew members to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials, and labor.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise on-site.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the asphalt paving industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating paving equipment, including pavers and screeds.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a crew of 3-8 workers.
• Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Drug Testing: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Language Skills: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Experience in operating Weiler and Cat paving equipment.
