Bryson Sales and Service is a family owned and operated full-line Blue Bird and Micro Bird bus dealership located in Utah. Bryson’s, established in 1969, is seeking a highly motivated person to join our parts counter sales team based in Woods Cross, UT.

Job description

The primary focus of the job will be sales of both Blue Bird and non-proprietary aftermarket parts to all bus customers. Our bus customers include, but are not limited to, county and city public schools, private schools, commercial bus operators, daycare facilities, colleges and universities, and third-party repair facilities.

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

• Courteously and quickly greet all call-in customers.
• Assist customers in a consultative manner to provide the best parts solution for their needs.
• Gain proficiency in parts knowledge and continue growing as new products are introduced.
• Employ superior listening skills and assess customers’ needs.
• Recommend additional related parts to customers.
• Inform customers of specials and stocking programs.
• Follow up quickly with customers on back-ordered items and communicate any changes in delivery dates or availability.
• Create purchase orders prior to placing orders with vendors.
• Initiate outbound sales calls to customers as directed by parts supervisor or department manager.
• Assist with Shipping and receiving tasks in warehouse.
• Successfully complete all required training
• Assist service department with fulfillment of parts requests.

Requirements

• Proficient in basic math.
• Minimum 2 years parts experience (Does not need to be bus parts exp.)
• Bus parts sales experience is a plus.
• Must be a team player.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Be familiar with and comfortable using a computer, including proficiency in typing.
• Must be competitive, thorough, and customer focused.
• Ability to lift and handle boxes/bins that weigh up to 75 lbs.
