Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Custom Cabinet Installer & Finisher with proven experience to join our fast-paced cabinet shop. This is a full-time position that will involve installing, finishing, and ensuring the highest quality standards for custom cabinetry. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring all projects meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install custom cabinets in residential homes, ensuring precise measurements, alignment, and functionality.
• Apply finishes to cabinetry, including staining, painting, and varnishing, ensuring a flawless appearance.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient installations.
• Conduct final inspections of cabinet installations and finishes to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Perform minor adjustments and touch-ups to ensure that all pieces are perfectly installed and finished.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment used for cabinet installation and finishing.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring a safe environment for all team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Custom Cabinet Installer & Finisher, with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, installation techniques, and finishing processes.
• Expertise in using a variety of tools and equipment related to cabinet installation and finishing.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• High attention to detail, with a focus on delivering quality craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adjust to on-site challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced cabinet shop.
• Knowledge of different wood types and finishes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for custom cabinetry.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple installations at once.
