Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Create and monitor job cost reports, project budgets, and financial projections to assist in decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits.
• Collaborate with project managers to track and analyze project costs and profitability.
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Provide financial insights and strategies to support the company’s growth and operational goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in construction or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (experience with Heavy Bid or similar construction software is a plus).
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
