Job Summary

Touchstone Electric is seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice/Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice/Journeyman Electrician will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring quality and safety on every job.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation and repair of electrical systems and components.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in construction site setup, including framing carpentry as needed for electrical installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in the electrical trade.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service during installations 
• Maintain clean and organized job sites, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
• Basic understanding of low voltage systems and their applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction environment, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols at all times.
• 3rd Year Apprentice or valid Journeyman’s license
