We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seasonal Pool Technician to join our team. A pool technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools by regularly testing water chemistry, adjusting chemical levels, cleaning the pool, performing minor repairs on pool equipment like pumps and filters, and ensuring the pool operates safely according to local regulations; duties may also include identifying and fixing leaks, managing pool chemical inventory, and providing customer service regarding pool maintenance practices. jobs@pmsystems.net

• Regularly test pool water pH, chlorine levels, and other chemical parameters, and add chemicals as needed to maintain proper balance.
• Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing.
• Vacuuming pool floors and walls, brushing pool tiles, skimming debris from the water surface.
• Inspect, service and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters and other equipment, including cleaning and replacing filters as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with pool equipment, such as leaks, clogged pipes, or malfunctioning controls. Properly store and handle pool chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Identify potential safety hazards and structural concerns around the pool.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pool maintenance.
• Document services performed and report any significant issues to management.

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification-preferred but will help to get certified.
• At least 1 year of previous experience as a service pool technician preferred.
• Familiarity with pool maintenance practices and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
