Fulltime contract high school automotive teacher.

Automotive Service Technician Teacher at Murray High School teaching Introduction to Auto, ASE Engine MLR, and ASE Chassis MLR courses.

Minimum Requirements: One of the following:

•Current Utah Secondary Educator License with USBE CTE Automotive Service Endorsement or,

•CTE/APP only License with a USBE CTE Automotive Service Endorsement or,

•Six (6) years of documented, related, full-time occupational experience within the ten (10) years prior to application as an automotive service technician with demonstration of competency in maintenance light repair, suspension & steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, and engine repair through dealer manufacturer-based equivalents or,

•Current Automotive Service Excellence Industry exams: G1-MLR, A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes, A6-Electrical/Electronic Systems, A8-Engine Performance.

Preferred Requirements: Industry experience and current ASE certifications in the required areas.
