Line maintenance working with flushing and televising sewer lines.
Duties: Position involves spending over 8 hours per day flushing and televising sewer lines throughout the District. Applicant will make sure trucks are prepared for the day by performing a pre-trip inspection and making sure all necessary tools are onboard. Flusher trucks will be filled with water from a hydrant. Flushing and televising data is entered into our GIS system throughout the day. Duties also include raising/replacing manhole covers, working with a jackhammer and asphalt, along with building maintenance and cleaning.
Qualifications: Position will require a valid driver’s license and must have or qualify for a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Must be able to lift 100+ pounds alone or with help. Experience with flusher trucks and televising trucks would be helpful but not required. Experience with Arc View GIS would also be helpful but not required.
