We are a well-established General Contractor specializing in small to medium-scale residential and commercial projects across Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, and Summit Counties. Before reaching out, please review the complete job description.

What We Offer
Competitive Pay: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience. We are flexible with 1099 or W2 employment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 10 AM - 6 PM. Weekend work is optional based on demand—NO on-call or emergency shifts.
Material Purchases: Paid time for shopping with a company card for supplies.
Your First 90 Days
Training & Shadowing: 25 hours over a 10 to 30-day training period at $20/hour, with flexible scheduling. (How long this shadowing period takes depends on your availability - we know some candidates will need to fit us into their schedule when they can as they leave their current position.)
Ongoing Pay: After the training period, you'll earn $30/hour until you hit 90 days.
After Your 90-Day Review
Increased Hours & Pay: Potential for 30+ hours per week at $30–$40/hour DOE. (This position is technically considered part-time to accommodate fluctuations in demand and seasonality, but we prioritize getting you 40 hours a week.)
Full Tips: Keep 100% of tips you earn (or split them with other field techs if the job requires more than one tech)
Job Support: On-the-job assistance and dedicated scheduling staff for seamless coordination.
Performance Bonuses: Earn bonuses through our 5-star review program.
Ongoing Development: Monthly check-ins, quarterly paid training, and bi-annual performance reviews to help you grow.

Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Handyman/Foreman/Maintenance Technician/Home Renovation Specialist/Carpenter for 5 or more years is required.
- Experience leading and managing a small team for 5 or more years is required.
- Must have a reliable vehicle that can transport various tools and large materials.
- Candidates must provide their own tools.
- Willingness to sign a Non-Solicitation/Non-Compete Agreement
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license
- Ability to provide a clean driving and criminal record
- Understanding and adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
- Good physical condition is required, including the ability to lift heavy objects and work in strenuous environments
- Professional and polished appearance and demeanor

- Leadership Skills: Seeking an experienced leader to support ownership in leading our small field team. This role involves hands-on repairs, project oversight, and team support. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy mentoring others.
- Versatility: Capable of performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, along with other common maintenance and repair equipment. Must be able to perform invisible wall and door patches, match paint color/sheen exactly. Must be able to consistently use app technology like HousecallPro and Company Cam.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess situations and devise effective solutions for repair or maintenance issues
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in completing tasks and ensuring quality workmanship
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors; providing excellent customer service and being courteous, responsive, and respectful. Consistent review of booking details two days in advance and regular phone availability throughout the day for questions or concerns.
