Counter Salesperson

Position focuses on serving walk-in customers, phone customers, and electronically submitted orders.

40 hours per week with minimal overtime

This position handles the following responsibilities:

·        Welcomes and serves customers

·        Provides quotes to customers in-person, by phone and electronically

·        Handles customer service questions and inquiries

·        Serves as first point of contact for technical questions related to all our automation and control products

·        Works closely with inside sales, purchasing and shipping / receiving to coordinate sales orders

·        Monitors inventory levels and provides feedback to purchasing department

·        Participates in regular training to learn about products and their technical applications

High school graduate or GED

Electrical parts experience preferred, but not required

Industrial sales experience preferred, but not required

Motivated, hardworking, and reliable

Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain friendly, customer-focused attitude

Excellent attention to details

Strong ability to work with numbers; quoting, counting, and reviewing part numbers

Positive, upbeat personality

Strong computer skills – Point of Sale, Credit Card Processing, Business systems, Outlook, Excel, Word

US Citizen or Green Card required

Pay is in the range of $50K to $85K per year based on education and experience. Plus; sales bonuses, incentives and spiffs!
