This role requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques. The installer works closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure accurate and high-quality installations.
A Cabinet Installer is responsible for assembling, installing and finishing cabinetry in residential and commercial spaces.
Reviewing design specs measurements and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
Measuring and Preparing Spaces. Assembling and Installing Cabinets.
Cutting and Modifying Materials.
Ensuring Level & Secure Installation.
Handling and Transporting Materials.
Working politely with other tradespeople.
Maintaining Tools & Safety Standards.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service.
Proven experience as a cabinet installer, carpenter or similar role.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, saws, levels)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to on-site changes.
Knowledge of different wood types and finishes.
Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical consideration related to cabinet installation.
