Canine by Design is an industry-leading dog training service and pet care provider.

We are seeking a reliable, coachable, and highly motivated individual to join our team of passionate dog professionals. This individual will facilitate overnight, in-home boarding. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dog care, as well as be a brand ambassador for Canine by Design through delivering and maintaining a superior level of care and professionalism.

While professional dog training experience is preferred, we are open to hiring and training a candidate who will be a great fit for the team.

• Board our client dogs in comfort of your own home
• Attend weekly remote team meetings
• Provide prompt & professional communication with team members and clients
• Be able to care for a variety of dog breeds and sizes
• Knowledgeable about dog training tools and uses
• Regularly sanitize kennels and food/water bowls
• Bathe and groom dogs
• Reliable and Self-Starter
• Good communication skills with an ability to build rapport & trust with clients
• Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 60 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time
• Reliable vehicle transportation able to transport up to 2 dogs in crates

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Dog Boarding Experience (eg Wag or Rover style pet boarding)
• Located in Salt Lake or Utah County
• Ability to restrain and control any dog, ranging from 5lbs up to 120lbs
• Prior industry or boarding experience (Kennel/vet tech, Wag/Rover sitter, or dog walker)
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
• Pass a criminal background check
