Comers Concrete is a family-oriented concrete company proudly serving DOT projects across the state of Utah. We’re currently seeking a Concrete Field Technician to join our growing team at our Salt Lake City and West Point batch plant locations.

This is a hands-on position with opportunities for growth and advancement. We’re looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn the full scope of concrete production—from testing and quality control to plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site concrete testing in accordance with applicable standards
• Maintain accurate QC (Quality Control) records and documentation
• Assist with material management, including inventory and deliveries
• Support general batch plant operations and upkeep
• Learn the full batching process—from ground man duties to batch man operations
• Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient production

What We're Looking For:

• Interest or experience in concrete testing and/or construction materials
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping
• Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team
• Reliable, safety-minded, and hard-working
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in an outdoor, fast-paced environment

Preferred but Not Required:

• ACI certification(s) or prior QC experience
• Experience working with or around concrete batch plants
