Ivory Homes, Utah’s #1 Homebuilder seeks a detailed oriented Construction Budget Estimator with strong analytical and communication skills to join its Budgeting team.

Budget Analyst responsibilities include:

• Review and approve vendor invoices while checking for accuracy according to pre-approved pricing and budgets. (Roughly 40%)
• Purchase orders and budgets. (Roughly 40%): Prepare takeoffs using estimating software to issue accurate purchase orders; Review construction plans and documents; Estimate cost budgets with reasonable variances.
• Other Duties (Roughly 20%): Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive budgets for all Ivory home plans; Run reports and complete special projects when requested; Work with vendors to reconcile past due or missed payments; Develop and maintain good relationships with subcontractors and suppliers; Work closely with accounts payable, purchasing, in-field construction, and warranty teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of basic finance and accounting principles.
• Experience in residential construction is a plus but not required.
• Experience using PlanSwift or other takeoff software is a plus but not required.
• Competent utilizing Excel to perform calculations and analyze data.
