We are seeking a skilled Production Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling electro-mechanical equipment in a light manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys working with mechanical and electrical components, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assembly of electromechanical equipment in a light manufacturing setting
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and wiring drawings to ensure precise assembly
  • Maintain and troubleshoot tooling and equipment
  • Assembly of pumps, motors, blowers, air compressors, and analytical devices
  • Mounting devices to instrument panels
  • Control panel assembly and wire termination
  • PVC piping and tubing
  • Plastic welding
  • Riveting structural members
  • HVAC ducting
  • Aluminum conduit routing and wire pulling
  • Hanging insulated paneling
  • Install vinyl floor
  • Applies knowledge of mechanical fabrication under the direction of Manufacturing Engineering staff
  • Plays an active role in continuous improvement activities


Qualifications

  • Experience in hands-on work with mechanical parts and fabrication
  • Experience in hands-on work with electrical control panel parts and fabrication
  • Plastic and metal welding experience a plus
  • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools on a variety of materials
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
  • High attention to detail and focus
  • Structured troubleshooting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Associate degree in mechanical technology discipline and/or other technical training preferred
  • Experience with Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Inventor software applications a plus
  • Experience in a skid mounted water and wastewater treatment systems a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. physically and maneuver up to 100 lbs.


Additional Information

  • This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Mon - Fri 8 am to 5pm
  • We offer a competitive base wage and fully paid medical benefits.
