Job Description

We're hiring: Part-Time or Full-Time with a Flexible Schedule, Base + Bonus (Commission Option Available)

Hamilton Park Interiors is looking for a high-energy achiever to join our Sales and Interior Design Team. If you're confident, charismatic and driven by results, this is the position for you. We're looking for someone who knows how to turn opportunities into wins and genuinely enjoys building relationships with clients. This isn't your average retail job. We're looking for someone that is passionate about people, design and making things happen! It's part client advisor, part interior designer, and part sales strategist. We're looking for someone who can help clients make their homes beautiful!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Working with retail clients on our showroom floor
  • Working on both furniture and design projects
  • Converting opportunities to sales
  • Marketing to obtain new opportunities
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Pricing furniture
  • Sending quotes
  • Entering orders
  • Creating digital client presentations
  • Designing color palettes and layouts for clients
  • Going to clients homes for consultations
  • Doing virtual consultations with clients
  • Going on installs to ensure furniture is placed correctly and accessorized
  • Designing completed rooms including bedding and window treatments
  • Draw layouts and elevations
  • Maintaining monthly revenue sales
  • Be willing to learn and grow


Qualifications

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Must have retail experience and design experience
  • Experience working a retail showroom
  • Must have the ability to connect with walk in clients
  • Sales and people skills are required
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, etc
  • Type 60 words or more per minute
  • Have basic computer skills including programs like Google slides, Pages, etc
  • Hardworking
  • Sketchup or other drawing skills are appreciated
  • Be a go getter
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Can stay organized when working on multiple projects
  • Ability and willingness to learn
  • A team player
  • Knowledge of furniture and architectural styles
  • Have an eye for color and design
  • Be self motivated and able to self manage
