  • Damage Assessment:

  • Cost Estimates:
  • They may be involved in preparing cost estimates for repairs. 
  • Planning Work:
  • They plan the repair procedures, considering the most efficient and effective methods. 

2. Repair and Restoration:

  • Removing Damaged Parts:
  • Technicians remove damaged components like bumpers, fenders, hoods, and trim. 
  • Frame and Chassis Alignment:
  • They may need to use specialized equipment to realign car frames and chassis. 
  • Repairing Dents and Damage:
  • This involves techniques like hammering out dents, patching, and filling depressions with body filler. 
  • Welding and Fitting:
  • They use welding equipment to repair and fit replacement parts, ensuring a secure and strong repair. 
  • Refinishing and Painting
  • Technicians prepare surfaces by sanding, buffing, and priming. They then apply a new finish, often using spray guns to paint the vehicle. 
  • Replacing Glass
  • They may also be responsible for replacing windshields and other vehicle glass. 

3. Quality Control and Maintenance:
