As a Low Voltage Installer at Onward Technology you will be performing installations of network-related equipment in schools, businesses, public venues, and new construction. Typical installations include CAT6 Ethernet cabling, wireless access points, server racks, surveillance cameras, ceiling speakers, door access control systems, projectors, etc. Projects will often take place during standard working hours, but may sometimes need to be completed after-hours or on weekends (when buildings are empty). Projects will take place at changing locations in multiple states, but primarily in Utah.

$20-$23/hour

Must have consistent attention to detail

· Must be willing to travel throughout Utah frequently

· Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

· Must be comfortable working on a ladder / at heights

· Must be comfortable working outside and in hot/cold weather conditions

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to provide physical labor for 8+ hours a day

· Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene

· Must have high integrity and honesty

· Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record

· Must be willing to undergo a background check

There are no formal education requirements to apply

Preferred (but not required):

· Some IT Experience

· Ability to terminate CAT6 Ethernet Cable

· Experience installing door access control systems

· Construction experience

· Project management experience

· Any BICSI or cabling certifications
