Our Young Collision Center of North Layton is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Autobody Estimator to join our dynamic team in Layton. • Estimate repair costs including body work and mechanical work
• Correspond with insurance agencies and customers regarding quotes
• assist with scheduling and work flow
• Assess damage while utilizing windows based computer system
• Follow oral and written instructions and/or prepare list of material parts needed for repair
• Present ideas effectively both orally and in writing

• Required: Knowledge of autobody products and methods
• Familiarity with insurance industry quoting
• Ability to utilize materials quoting software
• strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of metals and metal thickness of materials used by manufacturers - (for example composites - aluminum- and boron)
• Ability to read - analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals - financial reports and legal documents
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies or members of the business community
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a high functioning team
• Priority will be given to candidates with previous I-CAR Certification
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen
