Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly skilled legal assistant to join its dynamic International/Immigration Team. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests.
• Track billing records and help send billing invoices prepared by Accounting.
• Assemble and file immigration petitions.
• Track case status progress with great attention to detail.
• Maintain attorney's calendar and other administrative work including check requests for client filings and reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Can create positive client interactions through understanding and communicating information effectively in writing, by phone, by e-mail, or in person.
• High attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently.
• Prior U.S. immigration experience is strongly preferred.
• Preference may be given to applicants who are fluent in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
