About the Role:
Westside Equipment is seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our service department. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, tech-savvy, and passionate about managing and motivating a team. We serve Utah’s construction and industrial markets and are expanding into additional markets. We focus on reliable equipment, vehicles and exceptional service.
- Lead and manage a team of shop and field mechanics
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and vehicles
- Oversee scheduling, work orders, and quality assurance.
- Ensure safety standards and shop cleanliness are upheld
- Provide mentoring, training, and leadership to techs
- Support mobile/road repair services as needed
- Automotive and heavy equipment repair experience required
- Prior management or team lead experience
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Valid driver's license and personal tool set
- Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example
Compensation
• Hourly Pay: $31.25 – $40.87/hour (equivalent to $65,000 – $85,000 annually) DOE
• Tools/Equipment Stipend: $TBD
• Bonuses: $TBD
