We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and the ability to perform advanced mechanical repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision.
Larson Auto Equip LLC is a mechanic shop that prioritizes our fleet customers. Getting our customers truck’s & equipment repaired efficiently, accurately and without the “fluff” of big box store is how we’re in business. Maintaining our customer’s trust is extremely critical to our brand and success.
Responsibilities
Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on [vehicles/equipment/machinery]
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Identify and replace worn or damaged parts, adjust systems, and test equipment for proper performance
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent
Collaborate with other team members
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Occasionally work in the field to repair or maintain trucks & equipment
Qualifications
- Has proven experience with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles (cars & trucks, heavy equipment knowledge would be helpful but not necessary).
- Holds relevant certifications OR has a strong track record of hands-on experience.
- Is comfortable working with both traditional and modern diagnostic tools and software.
- Works efficiently without compromising quality—can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Is a team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Is detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
- Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Some welding experience would be helpful
- Maintains a clean and organized work area, and follows all safety protocols.
