Kirton McConkie, a premier Salt Lake City law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Claims and Litigation Paralegal to join the Risk Management practice group within the Religious Organizations section of the firm. This role requires strong organizational and case management skills, and experience working with outside counsel and handling large-scale litigation management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to manage claims and litigation across multiple jurisdictions while coordinating with local counsel.
• Maintain oversight of case statuses, deadlines, and developments; prepare reports and updates for attorneys and clients.
• Gather relevant documents, records, and information for claims assessments, early case evaluations, and discovery responses.
• Manage and organize client document production, facilitate discovery responses, and ensure compliance with litigation hold requirements.
• Oversee and administer all litigation hold notices.
• Utilize case management software to organize case files, track key developments, and streamline litigation processes.
• Handle all case-related information with discretion and security.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of litigation case management experience, preferably in a law firm or legal department handling high-volume litigation.
• A bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Proficiency in case management software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Notion or other database solutions is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of the litigation process from initiation through resolution.
• Ability to manage a high volume of claims and litigation matters simultaneously, track key developments, and coordinate effectively with attorneys, local counsel, and clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional maturity, and a collaborative approach to working within a legal team.
