Identify, bid, manage, and perform private and state government projects in Utah. Projects range from a few hundred dollars to a few hundred thousand dollars.

• Perform marketing for project acquisition, including bidding and customer calls and cultivation.
• Provide overall lead support, direction, and management for assigned construction projects.
• Communicate effectively with personnel both internal and external to the company.
• Locate and manage subcontractors..
• Lead or participate in meetings, special requirements, schedules, and budgets.
• Utilize construction management systems and methodologies as defined by the company, the customer and standards of the industry.
• Complete projects on time and on budget.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Ensure that all projects comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to insurance, safety, labor relations, EEOC, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction related field with a minimum of 5 years work experience in project management or equivalent discipline.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in various phases.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents, blueprints, specifications, engineering reports, safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Commitment to exceeding expectations in the delivery of safe, quality, cost efficient, and timely service.
• Problem solving skills, ability to face challenging situations, view from a variety of different angles; assess strength of options, select and implement the best solutions.
• Ability to make effective decisions on a timely basis, sometimes with limited information.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project), E4Clicks estimating software
• Present a professional demeanor at all times.

Travel will be sometimes be necessary per contract requirements. 

Business casual dress is required.
