Job Description

Kapp Auto Care is a automotive repair company in Clinton with some of the most advanced shop equipment available. We are looking for qualified individuals interested in working in a team environment. Technicians work in a new and modern facility alongside other master technicians.

 Technicians would be expected to:

• Repair vehicles using appropriate tools, technologies and procedures in order to restore vehicles to proper working condition;
• Be a mentor to support the efforts of other employees to be successful;
• Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service;
• Be open to learning from other employees and contribute to the success of the shop.

• Perform all repairs utilizing appropriate tools, procedures and operations.
• Disassemble and assess any supplemental needs, labor, parts, and communicate with the shop manager or other employees as needed.
• Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard processes, parts or procedures.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding any issue which may cause a repair delay to a vehicle.
• Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred but not required. 1+ years of experience as an automotive service technician.
• ASE certification, local emissions license a plus
• Maintain valid driver's license.
• Own adequate assortment of hand tools and power tools to perform the job effectively and efficiently.

·        $1,000+ bonus after 90 days of satisfactory performance based on experience.
