Our family is looking for an energetic, motivated, cheerful, problem-solving assistant! If it sounds like we are looking for the best it is because we are :)
A little about us - we have 4 amazing boys ranging in age from 11 to 19, and have very busy schedules between sports, school, travel, etc. We own multiple businesses and are investors in various real estate projects across the US. We are a fun-loving, adventurous family that loves to travel and experience all that life has to offer.
We live in Salem, hoping to find someone relatively close although Orem/Provo area is fine.
We really would love to find the right awesome person that can plug into our lifestyle and help coordinate all the things.
On the family/household side this would include managing appointments, coordinating communications for various household projects, and assisting with general things such as food prep, light housework, home organization, laundry, driving kids to practices etc.
The ideal candidate would have a good general sense of business and finances and be able to collect bids, pay bills, organize communications, etc.
Any experience teaching, as an executive assistant, gardening and/or management would be a plus.
We are looking for about 10 to 15 hours a week, but are open to offering more for the right person and depending on the fit.
We are open to salary or hourly for the right person, as well as a flexible schedule. Most likely would be around 3 days a week in the house and being available the other days to manage tasks and/or help with errands. This would generally be a Mon-Fri position.
- General housekeeping/cleaning, laundry and home organization
- Coordinate and schedule calendar appointments
- Organize and compile a home management list of repair and maintenance people.
- Schedule service appointments
- Run errands
- Some driving kids to and from practices, friends homes, etc
- Pet and garden friendly -helping with our pets, litter boxes, chickens, and watering plants
- Assisting with general Executive Assistant and admin duties
- Valid driver’s license and driving record free of incidents.
- Proficiency on a Macbook and other Apple devices (iPhone/iPad)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while staying organized
- Go-getter attitude with a "can do" spirit, able to jump in and get things done without a lot of direction
- Flexible and energetic personality
- Previous experience as an executive assistant or personal assistant is a plus
