Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance

• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Technician located in West Jordan, UT at Garage on Redwood. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on vehicles, identifying mechanical problems, repairing or replacing parts, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for use. The Automotive Technician will also interact with customers to understand their concerns and provide them with solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a technical program in automotive repair and maintenance OR several years of relevant experience
• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems with vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with colleagues on repairs and maintenance projects
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• A commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices for automotive repair and maintenance
