Utah Business is looking for an Event Coordinator who can assist our events team in planning, coordinating, and executing our events—including planning and hosting recognition events, speaker series, and conferences. As well as coordinating photo and video shoots, and executing in-person events.

Our Events Coordinator should be highly organized with the ability to keep track of several moving parts at once. This person should be self-motivated and prioritize what needs to be done for any scheduled event. This is a hybrid role that requires on-site coordination with a minimum 2x week in-office, located in Salt Lake City.

Job requirements

Take ownership of multiple events throughout the year

Coordinate and communicate with award honorees and sponsors

Schedule, attend, and manage photo and video shoots

Ensure all collateral is on schedule for event deadlines

Attend business events, network with influential business leaders, and keep a pulse on the business community in Utah

Work in partnership with the event team to fulfill all on-site event needs

Communicate with sponsors for deliverables 

Collaborate with other departments including Sales, Marketing, and Design to create an outstanding event experience

Job qualifications

College degree and/or 3+ years of event coordination experience

Exceptional ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent coordination abilities with a keen eye for detail

Confident in delivering public presentations

Outstanding interpersonal skills. You will be in regular contact with both Honorees and Sponsors.

Proficient in Google Suite and utilizing project management software.
