Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• A/R, billing, client relations, and other general accounting functions
• Ability to create and maintain excel spreadsheets
• Generate bills for clients and work with A/R reports
• Set up new clients and maintain client database
• Perform a wide variety of accounting duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of finance and accounting theories, including generally accepted accounting principles
• Capability to perform a variety of calculations, verification, posting, and reconciliation of accounting records
• Experience and proficiency with office software applications such as Excel and other accounting programs
• Detail oriented with strong organization skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Positive attitude and desire to succeed independently with a cross-functional team
• Good 10-key skills
• Ability to handle confidential and time sensitive information
• Five years of prior accounting experience
