We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to the HS&E Director & Commercial Support Manager to join our growing team.


Position Summary:

This role will support our HS&E Director and Commercial Support Manager by assisting with documentation, research, customer communications, and regulatory projects. While chemical experience is helpful, we are most interested in candidates with strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with drafting and maintaining internal health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) documentation.
  • Research regulatory requirements, safety standards, and chemical-specific data to support compliance and customer needs.
  • Support the preparation and tracking of safety data sheets (SDS), audit documentation, and training records.
  • Create, format, and update Word documents and Excel tracking tools.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, maintaining records, and following up on assigned tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and customers as needed.
  • Handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable formatting documents and creating spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct online research and compile information clearly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and eager to learn.


Preferred but Not Required:

  • Prior experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Familiarity with SDS documents, compliance reporting, or regulatory filings.
