Looking for nurse a who is confident in rendering professional nursing care on patients of all ages. Nurse must demonstrate empathy and clinical expertise in the areas of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, while concurrently functioning as a resource person for other nursing staff. Must also demonstrate professional conduct and accountability.

Job Description

Full-Time: Clinic, OR/Recovery nurse needed at single OR Surgical Center. Standard work days will be Monday- Fridays, typically 38-40hrs/wk with varying hours due to surgery/clinic load (shifts generally 8-10 hours but surgical days could average 12 hours).

Responsibilities

Will be responsible for assisting physician in clinic setting on assigned days. Rotating between OR Circulating nurse and recovery (PACU) on surgical days. Competent in duties such as patient care, administering medications, record keeping, interactions with patient's caregivers and giving discharge instructions. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited nursing education program (required). EXPERIENCE: Six (6) months experience preferably in surgical/recovery or related field. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current licensure, in good standing as an RN in the state of Utah. Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.

Preference will be given to those with previous experience in a surgical/recovery position.
