Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Office of Graduate Studies at Weber State University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Advisor and Recruiter. This full-time position is essential in supporting graduate student advising recruitment, leading marketing and outreach efforts, and providing administrative support to the Office of Graduate Studies and affiliated programs.
Required Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1 years of experience in advising marketing, communications, recruitment, advising, or a related field.
• A valid Utah driver’s license is required to conduct university-related in-state advising and recruitment travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred:
• Master’s degree.
• Academic advising, admissions, marketing, or student recruitment experience.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Background in public relations, audience development, or digital marketing.
• Familiarity with budget tracking, CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Recruit), CMS platforms, and institutional databases.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
