Utah Conservatory is a local music school with 25 years of experience in the heart of Park City. We are proud to serve approximately 300 music students each week, and offer a retail space selling guitars and musical accessories. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of School Supervisor as soon as possible.

Main responsibilities include answering the phone, greeting and interacting with students and clients in person, helping with all scheduling needs, maintaining written communications with staff and clients via email and instant messaging, providing excellent customer service, and helping to keep a professional but fun environment.

Secondary duties include keeping instruments organized and cleaned, retail sales, instrument rentals, inventory management, light cleaning, and other general office duties.

Our preferred candidate has an interest in music and would like to learn various instrument repair and maintenance skills as they become confident in their regular daily duties.

We are seeking an autonomous person who is able to work with minimal supervision and be proactive in finding work to do even during slower times. We are not seeking candidates looking to play on their phones during less stressful work hours.

Ideal candidates will have their own transportation and ability to arrive at their scheduled time each day, in Park City, even in the winter.

Schedule can be flexible, but we ask that once you decide on your hours that you stick to them. (Current persons schedule is 11-7 Mon-Fri. with 2 Saturdays a year for help with evaluations.)

Pay starts at $17/hr with immediate ability to collect commissions on various sales, rental payoffs, and registration fees collected. Pay raises to $18/hr after 90-day probationary period.
