IC Group is a leader in the promotional product industry. We embroider designs for companies in the Ecommerce, Retail, and Resort industry.

JOB SUMMARY As the Embroidery Operator you will perform a variety of routine and repetitive embroidery operations and procedures.

Responsible for operating, monitoring and adjusting machines used in the process for embroidering product as required and defined by approved production orders.

Responsible for the preparation of components for embroidery.

Works under general supervision where operations are specified by written and verbal instructions and established procedures in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES Operate embroidery machinery.

Prepare product for customization which includes, hooping material and setting up embroidery machines.

Gather required threads for embroidery design.

Prepare backing materials for all operator stations.

Select proper hoop size for design and product.

Read and comprehend embroidery proof and production order information.

Load embroidery machine with design and program colors.

Monitor embroidery machine operation to detect potential problems.

Ability to load embroidery thread.

Ability to adjust bobbin and thread tensions.

Set up and configure machines for bags, headcovers, towels and caps.

Performing all tasks required for finishing goods and accessories.

Pre-inspect finished goods.

QUALIFICATIONS 6+ months of experience working with industrial embroidery/sewing machines.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to read and interpret instructions and procedures
