Our Chiropractic Office is seeking someone who can fill a Full Time (33 hour per week) position as a Chiropractic Assistant. Our office is open for patient care Monday – Wednesday. Responsibilities include working alongside a Doctor of Chiropractic delivering the up-most quality care to our patients. -           Responsible for learning the ChiroTouch EHR System used in our office.

-           Answers the phones and addresses all patient questions and concerns.

-           Manages the practice’s schedule. Makes appointments for patients, determines when the chiropractor is available and confirms appointment to make sure patients are on time. greets patients and checks them in, confirming their insurance status, the ways in which they will pay.

-           Help patient’s fill out examination paperwork.

-           Records patients medical histories and any other relevant medical information.

-           Takes some general diagnostic information including blood pressure, temperature, height, and weight.

-           Preforms Static SEMG exams on patients.

-           Preforms Range of Motion (ROM) exams on patients.

-           Preforms Posture Analysis exams on patients.

-           Responsible for setting patients up on exercise and traction therapies

-           Data entry of subjective and objective exam findings into patient’s files.

-           Serves as a translator for Spanish speaking patients.

-           Keeps the office clean and presentable

-           Maintains organized files on all patients

-           Participates in educational activities and staff meetings

-           Responsible for writing Standard Operating Procedures of each job task performed.

-           Conducts self in accordance with the 40th Street Chiropractic employee manual.

-           Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

-           Adheres to all OIG guidelines.

U.S Citizen or U.S National (U.S. Work Visa)

Certified/ Registered Medical Assistant Preferred
