Safety. Ensuring a safe jobsite. Weekly toolbox trainings with subcontractor trades to ensure they are staying on top of safety issues. Continuous eye on safety. Safety is paramount. Year-end bonus is improved based on great safety record for projects under your supervision.

Planning! Meeting with each trade, devising a plan then acting on that plan. Adapting as necessary. Coordinating the plan of numerous trades cohesively. Ensuring the plan works with the project schedule and the clients' needs.

Scheduling/coordinating of man-power, materials, equipment, etc to work harmoniously, effectively and timely. To identify schedule critical path, milestones, and update/maintain 4-week look-ahead schedule on a weekly basis. No how to use gantt scheduling software. We use smartsheets and procore for our project schedules.

Project documentation including detailed daily reports, rfi's, schedules, photos, meeting notes, etc. All done through PC and/or Procore Construction Project Management Software.

Review/approve subcontractors monthly requests for payments with project manager.

To run the weekly site coordination meeting (OAC) with owner, architect, project manager, etc. The site superintendent should know more about the project than anyone else. Having them run the project coordination meeting demonstrates to the client their understanding and control of the critical issues.

Must have experience supervising projects up to $2.0M. Ground up construction preferred.

Must be able to read drawings, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, addenda, etc and gain a complete knowledge and understanding of the project scope of work.

Safety certificates including CPR/AED, OSHA 30hr, etc are encouraged.

Computer, tablet, smartphone literate. We use a web-based project management system and tablet/phone apps for same.

Maintain good relations and communications with all involved with project.
