As a Lodging Sales Agent at Snowbird, you'll be at the heart of one of the most iconic mountain resorts in the world! You'll engage with enthusiastic guests over the phone and via email, helping them plan their perfect stay by processing reservations and providing valuable information about rates, availability, exciting resort activities, world-class facilities, and everything that makes Snowbird so special.

Our doors are open 365 days a year, which means we're looking for flexible, motivated individuals who are ready to help our guests, whether it's a weekend getaway or a holiday adventure. You'll enjoy a full 8 ½ hour shift, including a mandatory 30-minute break, with shifts ranging from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM to 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM, with some variation depending on business needs. TITLE: Lodging Reservation Specialist

SUMMARY
As a Lodging Sales Agent, you will handle inbound calls, process reservations for Snowbird hotels, and provide information via telephone and email regarding rates, availability, resort activities, facilities, and general area information.We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, nights, weekends, and holidays are required. Shifts are scheduled for 8 1/2 hours with a mandatory 30-minute lunch break, and hours can range from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM to 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Shift times are subject to change.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responding to telephone and email inquiries from customers for reservations.
• Providing information on rates, package options, payments, cancellation policies, resort facilities, etc.
• Upselling additional services such as ground transportation, trip insurance, spa treatments, dinner reservations, and Mountain School lessons.
• Entering reservation information in the computer system and processing payments at the time of booking.
• Revising reservation records and documenting changes to maintain up-to-date information.
• Completing additional projects and duties as assigned to meet overall departmental goals.
• Occasional travel to/from the resort.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Ability to operate a computer and type at least 30 words per minute.
• Proficiency with 10-key calculator.
• Knowledge of SMS Host and Spa Soft is preferred but not required.
• Ability to exercise judgment within policy guidelines and without direct supervision.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks at once and effectively address customer inquiries.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Winter Season:
• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Summer Season:
• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• Shifts will vary within these hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexible schedule required, with rotating shifts and days off.
• 40 hours per week, based on resort needs.
• Must be available to work back-to-back shifts when needed.
