Job Summary/Basic Function:
This is an entry level position which assists students, faculty, administrators, and third parties (parents, spouses, designated representatives, etc.), with the following programs/processes: academic records & transcripts, admission, financial aid, graduation, recruitment, registration, and scholarships.
Required Qualifications:
Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred:
• Demonstrated customer service expertise.
• Strong verbal communication, written communication, and listening skills.
• Ability and willingness to become a skilled user of WSU’s student information system and other technological tools used within Enrollment Services.
• Proficiency and accuracy in evaluating related documents, tasks, and/or processes in the Admissions area.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and reconcile records and/or issues for various constituents with appropriate solutions, which may utilize the university data systems.
• The most recent performance evaluation (PREP ) within the Enrollment Services Division must be “meets job requirements” for internal staff. New employees, hired outside the university into Level 2 (Grade N25), must “meet expectations” at the end of their sixth month probationary period.
• College employment experience in academic advisement, registration, admissions, financial aid, student services, or enrollment services.
