Job Summary/Basic Function:
Shifts will be Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Pantry Operations:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Weber Cares Pantry at the Ogden campus under the supervision of the Coordinator.
• Serve as the on-site supervisor and provide leadership to two student hourly employees.
• Delegate daily tasks, including stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Keep the pantry scheduling calendar up-to-date, ensuring all shifts and tasks are covered.
• Manage the GivePulse volunteer platform and coordinate volunteer requests.
• Train and supervise pantry volunteers to ensure smooth operation.
• Regularly check pantry inventory levels and inform the Coordinator when stock is running low.
• Manage and oversee food deliveries, including moving items from the loading dock and organizing them for stocking.
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs for deliveries and other pantry-related tasks.
Outreach and Event Coordination:
• Collaborate with the SSRC Coordinator to plan and execute food drives, in-class presentations, and tabling events to raise awareness and support.
• Manage the Pantry Pack program, coordinating with relevant departments regarding pantry packs for both Ogden and Davis campuses.
• Assist the Coordinator with outreach activities, including social media, marketing, and communication strategies.
• Provide general support to the Coordinator on other pantry-related tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum one year of pantry-related experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise and train volunteers and student employees.
• Experience in inventory management and food distribution.
• Comfortable with using digital platforms, including GivePulse, to manage volunteers and track pantry needs.
• Ability to lift and move food items and supplies when needed.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to take on various tasks.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
